Sip, Melt, & Pour™ is where you make a candle while hanging out with your friends. How relaxing!
**Starting July 2024, all our Sip Melt and Pour classes will be held at SLO Ranch.**
We provide a fresh charcuterie box and a complementary drink (we have different type of drinks). You're welcome to bring your favorite drink if you like. (no alcohol)

In this class we talk about all things related to candle making including harmful chemicals that are in many commercial candles that people don’t know. We discuss candle terminology, fragrance notes, different types of waxes, candle care and more. Then, we proceed to make a beautiful handcrafted 14 oz wooden wick, soy wax candle. We provide different colors of jars and around 60 different premium phthalate free scents for you to choose from. You can choose up to three different scents so you can make your very unique signature scent.

While your candle sets, you can go shop around our beautiful SLO Cal or simply enjoy the sunset at the Beach. If you can't wait for it, don't worry! We can ship it to your house and maybe you want to add more goodies from the store in your package ($5 shipping fee).

This is a DIY candle pouring. We provide the instructions for you to follow. We'll be there to assist if you need it. Our Pop in and pour includes: 14 oz candle making, access to all our seasonal fragrance oils as well as our regular fragrance oils. While your candle sets, you can go shop around the Village of Arroyo Grande or simply enjoy the sunset at the Beach. If you can't wait for it, don't worry! We can ship it to your house and maybe you want to add more goodies from the store in your package ($5 shipping fee).

Our candle making class for kids from 7-11 years old. We would help your child to make their candle. Kids will handle a very low temperature wax (120F) in a pitcher. For reservations please email us at hello@themayancollective.com.

To reserve a private party we need a minimum of 10 people. Our private parties are $75 per person, it Includes candle making class, a charcuterie box 4x4, a complementary drink (no alcohol). Custom label for your jars. Of course you’ll be making a 14 oz candle.

Your child will be thrilled to celebrate their birthday at our Candle Bar. Unique and stylish projects will be so much fun for the birthday boy or girl to complete with their friends! And you will love that the mess won’t be in your home!

Our amazing staff offers guided instruction for each project! We provide all of the materials.

Each guest will leave with a beautiful and unique craft project.

About this workshop:

We’ll be guiding everyone to make a unique and fun candle making project! Kids love creating their own fragrance blend of their candle.

• 4 oz candle making + 2 oz room spray

• Guests will be decorating their own concrete container as well as their own candle.

• Guests will be creating a fragrance blend for their candle and room spray.

All these workshops are 1.5 hrs. Birthday boy/girl's parents are welcome to stay. You can bring cupcakes, cookies, fruit, drinks, etc.

We set up + clean up! This is a hassle free birthday!
